Landis Benson is the President of Hake Realty/GMAC Real Estate, a northern Wyoming Real Estate Brokerage Company where he has been the Responsible Broker since 1989.  He has been with Hake Realty since 1978 where prior to becoming Responsible Broker and President he was a broker and sales agent.    He received commendation in 1997 from the Wyoming Association of Realtors and the Tri-County Board of Realtors for “Realtor of the Year”.  Mr. Benson served as a Board member of the Wyoming Community Development Authority from 1995 to 2002 and was Chairman of the Board from 1997 to 1999.  He currently serves on several boards including the Board of Directors of American National Bank and Board of Managers of Wyoming Sugar Company, LLC and is General Partner of Washakie Developers Limited Partnership, a real estate development company. Civic involvement includes serving on the local Senior Citizens Board of Directors, Chairman of the congregation at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and a board member of WDA, a local economic development association.
