Seana Rau joined Mountain Plains Equity Group, Inc. (MPEG) as Director of Asset Management in March of 2008.  Seana is responsible for all internal accounting functions, Fund accounting and financial reporting with MPEG’s investors, including the processing of equity installments.  Seana monitors the existing portfolio and ongoing property management functions, working closely with general partners to track related party transactions, general ledger analysis and reconciliations.  

Seana is a Certified Public Accountant with considerable experience in both public and private/corporate accounting.  Prior to joining MPEG, Seana was financial analyst and manager of corporate reporting for Big Sky Airlines.  Seana is also a former employee of  Eide Bailly LLP, a regional accounting firm with offices in Billings, Montana.  As an accountant in the general services department, Seana’s duties bridged both the audit and tax departments.

In addition to her career responsibilities, Seana is actively involved with various professional and civic organizations, including:

• Board Member of the Montana State University – Billings Alumni Association
• Treasurer for the YWCA Board of Directors
• Member of Montana Association of Female Executives

Seana is originally from Sidney, Montana.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Montana State University‑Billings.
