Powell Court Apartments is in the final stage of construction, so we’re already planning the Grand Opening celebration for some time in the near future. Sponsored by Wyoming Housing Network, Inc. (WHN) and Mountain Plains Equity Group, Inc. (MPEG) in a collaborative effort, this new 12-unit multifamily housing development is dedicated to individuals and families earning less than 60% of the Area Median Income of Park County. Recognizing the serious need in Powell, Wyoming for additional affordable rental housing, WHN and MPEG are proud to offer these high-quality, affordable apartments, including 1- , 2- and 3-bedroom options. In working closely with the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA), the new complex is financed in large part by the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. Construction loan financing was provided by local lender First Bank, a division of Glacier Bank, to round out the required financing package.
The various amenities provided at the Powell Court Apartments will create a more convenient and comfortable living environment for prospective residents, not to mention the benefit to operating costs and building maintenance. Special thanks to HGFA Architects for their good work in the planning and design of this property; by utilizing quality building materials, energy efficient appliances and the incorporation of a proven design, the ongoing operating and maintenance expenses will be reduced, helping to ensure the long-term success of the project. As general contractor, Sletten Construction led an efficient and effective build-out from the start. BlueLine Property Management will assume responsibility for day-to-day management of the property, and they are accepting leasing applications now.
